Offering ourselves to God is not something that should be contained within a once per week, sixty-minute time period. A living sacrifice is a sacrifice that is alive and continuous in action. This means worship occurs not just in the Sanctuary but in all the hours of our lives and in all of our activities: each relationship, each task, each opportunity, each problem, each success, and each failure. Until we yield ourselves completely to God, we can never experience the transforming power of God in us, individually and as a church, as we reach out into the world.
