Welcome back to Pause + Pray for Teachers | Recharge With Purpose, Part 2.

On our last episode, we spent time recharging in the Word together, releasing what we were carrying from last year and asking God to guide our plans for this one. But we ran out of time before we could close things out the way I wanted to.

So this is Part 2. We're picking back up to finish out our time together for the month with a word of encouragement and commissioning for the year ahead.

As we step fully into this school year, I share a few things I felt led to leave with you. Things I want you to carry with you as you go throughout the year, things to remember on the hard days and the good ones.

During this part of the prayer experience, I shared the following:

• Remember your why and revisit the vision God gave you for your classroom
• Go forth inside of your classroom and make a Kingdom impact right where you are
• Commit to being a doer of the Word, not just a hearer
• Embrace help, from God and from those He places in your path
• Rest in the truth that you are not alone, because God goes before you

• Keep our eyes fixed in the right direction and stand firm
• Walk in good character as we lead our classrooms
• Pray for strength and endurance for the year ahead

You are not alone. God is guiding this year.

God Was at Work All Along: What My Hardest School Year Taught Me

What happens when the very message you teach becomes the lesson God asks you to live?

In this episode, I share a little about the most challenging school year of my teaching career. I share how God met me in the middle of the tears, taught me to receive help, deepened my faith, and reminded me that He was at work even when my circumstances didn't change.

This month, our focus is the Summer Reset.

As the school year closes, many teachers are carrying more than they realize. The weight of what was hard. The things that did not go as planned. The pressure they put on themselves. And even in the good moments, the quiet exhaustion that comes from giving so much for so long.

But before you rush into summer, God is inviting you to do something important. Pause. Breathe. And bring this year to Him.

In this prayer experience we reflected on what God did this year, released what was still heavy, and opened our hands to receive His grace and rest for the season ahead.

Although many of us are already on summer break, let's not rush through the rest of it. And if you haven't had a chance to slow down yet, this is your moment.

As the school year comes to a close, many teachers may be feeling the weight of exhaustion, emotional stretching, classroom needs, end-of-year responsibilities, and the pressure to finish well. But even in these final weeks, God sees you. He sees your faithfulness, your prayers, your unseen sacrifices, and the strength it has taken to keep showing up.

You do not have to close out this school year in your own strength. God is present, He is faithful, and He desires to help you as you finish these final weeks.

Wherever you are today, remember this: You are not alone. God sees you, He is strengthening you, and He will help you finish this season with grace.

We just have to allow Him, and not dictate how the help comes.

In this episode, I share what God has been walking me through over the past few months in my classroom. Through time in the Word, prayer, fasting, and sitting with 1 Corinthians 13, God began to show me areas in my heart that needed to shift.

The classroom situations didn’t fully change but my perspective did.

I talk about how God used everyday classroom moments to reveal what was in me, refine my responses, and teach me what it truly looks like to walk in love as a teacher.

If you’re in a challenging classroom season, feeling tired, or sensing that God is working on your heart, this episode is an encouragement to let Him continue the work.
