Attending a conference provides attendees with the opportunity to learn, stay up with trends, connect with people that they wouldn’t otherwise meet, and gain insights into the industry. It also provides an opportunity to network. But, most attendees don’t strategize and make good use of this opportunity.
Time management at conferences is at a premium and providing the necessary networking tools to participate in a more meaningful way is paramount.
So during this LIVE session the panel discusses the importance of networking at conferences and provide tips on how to make meaningful connections. They emphasize the need for authenticity, curiosity, and offering value in conversations. They also discuss the importance of reflection and follow-up after the conference to maximize the return on investment.

In this episode of the Treasury Career Corner podcast, host Mike Richards is joined by self-professed Treasury Nerd, Trish Fisher, Treasurer at Wafra, a New York-based alternative investment management firm.
As a multi-award-winning payments technologist and TMANY Board Member with nearly 20 years of experience in treasury operations, Trish joins the show to share her unconventional journey into treasury and her passion for treasury technology.

With her expertise in treasury and her love for technology, Trish brings a unique perspective to the podcast.
