If the teachers and nurses and anyone who chose a career in the truly essential sectors had contracts that paid them millions of dollars regardless of their performance? Yet it happens in the field of pro atheletes without a blink of an eye.  A bench warmer who may play less than 6min on whatever field, court, rink etc will bank at least a million dollars in a teo to 5 year contract. 

Thats ludicrous.
