1. What do we mean when we call God, Father? Is it a functional label? What are the implications of this functional label?

2. What is the value in identifying the first person of the Trinity as Father? What are some challenges that arise from identifying God as our Father? In what ways do we see the discipline of God as a positive thing for our relationship to him and also our overall formation?
