"Resurrection Day" ...........In Matthew 28:1-15 we read about the vacant tomb and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When the women went to the tomb they found that the stone had been rolled away and Jesus was not in the tomb. He showed Himself to them. Fear and joy filled them and they ran to tell the other disciples. Those who had persecuted Jesus told various stories to try to downplay what had happened. It takes faith to believe Jesus was resurrected. But it is believing in the resurrection that allows us to know the battle was won for us on that day. Praise God for all His mercies!
