Publisher's Summary:
Life isn't going as planned, and Sadie Middleton is rethinking her whole future. Thankfully, one thing is staying the same: She's able to share her love of quilting with her grandmother, Gigi. The two of them enter a contest and win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Kilts and Quilts retreat in the Scottish Highlands. But their victory turns hollow when Gigi passes away before they can go.
Sadie is grief stricken, but her brother convinces her to take the trip to Gandiegow anyway. There Sadie meets a charming circle of quilters who remind her of her grandmother and Ross Armstrong, a handsome fisherman who brings a smile to her face.
Newly single, Ross intends to enjoy his freedom. That plan goes awry as he comes to know Sadie, and a surprising spark is lit. Unfortunately some well-meaning folks want to protect Ross from getting hurt again and are determined to keep him and the American lass apart.

Great feel good Scottish romance!
I cannot recommend this book enough! I finished listening to the Audible audiobook today and it is a great feel-good, slow to come together, romance. There are countless laugh out loud moments and you can't help but be drawn to the characters of the quaint Scottish little town. Patience Griffin just can't write them fast enough for my tastes. Bravo!
Enchanting
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were exciting, the story had everything in a very sweet fun, heartfelt and homey time.
May be #5 but love it like the 1st
A wonderful story of a Hot Scot and a quilter with bad Kidneys. Handled the illness and grief over losing her Grandmother beautifully. I was pulled in to the story with laughter and tears. Also Loved the wedding traditions for a Gandigow wedding. This may be #5 but this series is still going strong. Well done Patience Griffen.
Wrong Steam Meter setting - it's only simmering
Tons of dialogue and cranky people in a quaint fishing village. Whiney Sadie meets handsome Ross, I don't see the attraction.
Two short sex scenes in the final 2 hours.
Nothing spectacular. Just a story about a bunch of crabby people. Meh.
Don't miss out
It's easy to fall in love with every character in this little Scottish village. This book will leave you wanting to go to the quilting retreat even if you don't sew.
