The Trumpets

Listen Later

Last week, we took a look at Jesus opening the Seventh Seal. When He did so, it caused silence at the throne. Between the anxiousness to see what was in the scroll and the sock of the destruction, there were about 30 minutes of silence as those around the throne took it in.

Before the silence was broken, we saw that the worship around the throne continued. God created everything so that He would be worshiped. He will be worshiped because He is worthy of our worship.

Today, we will take a look at the first Six Trumpet judgments. We will see pain and destruction that far exceeds what we saw in the first Six Seal judgments. Don’t miss the final point of our message today. It is key for us to remember that God is Omniscient. He doesn’t make mistakes.

Diving Deeper. After listening to today's message, consider asking yourself the following questions:

Explain how the first four trumpet judgments will not be able to be explained as natural disasters.

    • Take a moment to think about lost friends and family. List the names of those that you don’t want to experience the Tribulation.
    • Explain the main difference between the first four trumpets judgments and the fifth and sixth.
    • Why do Lost People Love Their Lostness?
    • ...more
