So, you would possibly ‘know’ the principles of cricket, or the recipe for a chicken curry, or the way to mend a bicycle puncture. there's a difference, though, between ‘knowing what’ and ‘knowing how.’ Knowing the recipe for chicken curry isn't an equivalent as having the sensible skills needed to form it. for instance, if you've got never chopped anything, you almost certainly won’t have acquired the required knife skills. this is often a key difference between knowledge and skill.
