Raymond Ibrahim is a widely published expert on the Middle East and Islam. He's the Distinguished Senior Shillman Fellow at the Gatestone Institute and the Judith Friedman Rosen Fellow at the Middle East Forum. He has written Defenders of the West: The Christian Heroes Who Stood Against Islam and Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War Between Islam and the West. His work has appeared on many major publications, radio shows, and videos. He has appeared before Congress to testify about the misunderstands of Islam and the plight of Christians around the world. Since 2011, he has compiled a monthly report of global persecution of Christians by Muslims.
