 Steps to a hardened heart

 Intimacy with God starts to slip.

 Deception gets an entrance.

 Personal disciplines begin to weaken.

 Isolation from spiritual accountability creeps in.

 Distance develops.

 Patterns of wrong thinking and inferior choices grow stronger.

 An evil heart is developing …. Sensitivity to sin is lost, and we are becoming

hardened against the very heart of God!

 Remember, a loss of intimacy with God is the root of all our internal brokenness.

 What do I do to start rebuilding intimacy with God?

 Recognize …. Repent …. Reinvest in Rebuilding (intimacy with God; relationships

with others)

 Hebrews 3:14 – Hebrews 4:11

Striving in our own abilities vs partnering with God Who has the ability and the end result

under His control!!
