Tunisian President Kais Saied has sacked the government and frozen the parliament in one of the Country's biggest political crises since the 2011 revolution that lead to the current democracy.
After years of economic and political instability, the Covid-19 pandemic brought the small North African country to its knees even as its foreign debt reached the symbolic 100 billion dinar (about 30 billion euros), which is about 100% of the gross domestic product.
