TFW Your Kid Gets Mad At the Federal Reserve
Boyack takes a fairly dry subject (the inflationary tactics of the Federal Reserve) and turns it into something accessible by childrenâeven as young as my nearly 3-year-old. He may be a little precocious but he's so fascinated with these books. It helps in this case that there's a scary and enigmatic creature throughout the book (even if it's portrayed in the imagination of the kids). This makes it particularly appealing to the youngins though I should add that my son is equally interested in the less-monster-ridden "The Law".
As I've written, there is a major dearth of quality children's books if you actually want to teach your kids some morals and not just non sequitur fluffy animal business. The kids will love it. AND you're going to love it when your kid gets mad about that "big mean monster" the Fed.
