The Stories:

This week Nydia and Dana had the bright idea to talk about human experimentation. We want to warn you that this episode is not for the faint of heart! We discuss all kinds of torture, sexual assault, violence and more. We care about your mental health so we just wanted to give you a heads up. Get some chocolate to help you through it. It is a tough episode, but we think its important. Nydia tells us about the Monster Josef Mengele and the atrocities he perpetrated during the holocaust. Dana's interest was peek during a previous episode so she deep dives into Unit 731 and the nightmare of a man Shirō Ishii.

The Food: 

Nydia had a kitchen experiment and made us ribs in the crock-pot for the first time. Dana made us a cake from the 1940's called a gold nugget cake. They both cut corners but come see how things turned out. We drank a Zinfandel this week called 7 Deadly Zins, which was very zinful!

Nydia’s Kitchen Experiment 

Easy crockpot pork ribs - Season pork ribs with Adobo seasoning and Sazon seasoning to taste. Add about a tablespoon of olive oil to the crockpot. Throw in ribs cook for about 4 hours on high. That’s it.
