What are you building your life on?

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus tells the story of two builders. Both heard His words. Both built a house. Both faced the same storm. But only one house stood.

The difference wasn't what they heard, what they built, or what they faced. The difference was what they did with the Word of Jesus.

In this message, The Two Builders, Pastor Brian looks at the foundation of our spiritual lives and the serious difference between hearing the Word of God and actually obeying it.

A life can look right on the outside. We can attend church, know the language, hear the preaching, and still build on the shifting sand of our own opinions, desires, and terms.

Jesus Christ is the only foundation that will stand.

Have you obeyed the Gospel? Have you repented of your sins, been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost? And if you've already obeyed the Gospel, are you still building every part of your life according to His Word?

We've all heard His Word.

Now the question is: What will we do with it?
