In this episode Kyle and Chris discuss a recent interview with the Prime Minister of Greenland and Piers Morgan on the topic of potential U.S. territorial expansion. The interview served as a springboard to critique the biased, negative (and in my opinion unjustified) view the European world seems to hold of the United States and its citizens. While we consistently deflect the tropes "Americans are dumb" and "Americans think they're better than everyone else," etc., it's about time someone holds a mirror to their own ignorance...especially of American culture and government.  Next, we switch to the topic of the Cold War and the now infamous example of Jospeh McCarthy and the McCarthy hearings. We read McCarthy's 1950 speech and line-up up his critics against the reality of 2026 America to determine...was he right all along?

This episode was inspired by an interview with Dr. Margaret Barker on the History Valley Podcast discussing her 2023 book The Great Lady. We begin with Opinion Scholarship on the very earliest known religious images from the Stone Age, which depict a Great Goddess figure and walk through how that image was preserved in later mythology. We then bring Dr. Barker's work to bear on the Biblical figure of Ashera, how her memory was obscured over the development of Judaic monotheism and how the truth of her origin was finally revealed in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

In this episode Chris delivers Opinion Scholarship on the great quantum physicist--Erwin Schrodinger--through the ideas expressed in his 1956 book Mind and Matter. Things get unexpectedly mystical almost immediately as Schodinger discusses the implications of the "observer effect" and the Copenhagen interpretation of Quantum Mechanics. It only gets better from here as Schodinger explores the role of consciousness in physics, the unity of 'mind' and the qualities of mind that are equally qualities of God.

This episode continues our conversation with a liberal Englishman, and friend of the show, Daniel Torridon of the Onion Unlimited podcast. In this episode Kyle and Chris discuss a recent interview between two British blokes--Andrew Gold and, self-proclaimed "ethno-nationalist," Steve Laws. They tie this interview to the growing popularity of similar personalities in the U.S., such as Nick Fuentes, and a growing social movement towards nationalism. They discuss the difference between so-called civic nationalism and ethno-nationalism, the obstacles to assimilation and the role genes play in the development of society and culture. Using the subject of genes as a segway, they end the show with a discussion of a bizarre genetic condition--alpha-reductase deficiency--which plagues a small tribe in the Dominican Republic called 'Guevedoces.'

This one doesn't go quite as planned, when an off-hand remark about the Crusades unexpectedly ignites a tense discussion on politics, Christianity and propaganda. From a discussion of political manipulation, we move to the manipulation of social media algorithms and wrap up with a bit of speculation on the nature of spirit.

In this episode Kyle and Chris reunite for an open and honest dialogue about the realities of cannabis and its effects, both positive and negative. Is it medicine, a slippery slope into psychological and physiological dependence or a mixed bag with plenty of grey area? They recount their experiences and hold nothing back. The conversation then turns to the topic of Islam and its cultural encroachment in the West. We discuss critical scholarship of the Quran and compare the examples of the Biblical Jesus to that of Muhammad. This topic wouldn't be complete without a critique of the political power games involved and the propaganda finding its way into the news and our social media feed. Strap in!
