Listen to the audio:
On today’s Tech Help for Churches,
The Two video editors hidden in YouTube
You can edit videos in YouTube, but you have to choose the right editor to do it. Here’s how:Click To Tweet
There are two functions that do editing in YouTube. The first is the enhancements editor. It allows you to do quick fixes like autofix, stabilize, slow footage down, or change the look. It can also apply a filter (similar to an instagram filter), and do a so-called special effect: blurring faces. Finally, you can trim off the beginning or end of the video.
The limitation of the enhancements editor is that it’s not that powerful, but it can edit a video that has already bee added to your account without affecting analytics.
The YouTube editor is much more powerful. It allows you to change audio, add stills, or even put multiple pieces of video together.
Each video in the youtube editor is a new video; you can’t use it to tweak existing videos, although you can make new ones which are very similar to the originals.
