The Two Witnesses

Listen Later

Last Week, we looked at the first of two sections of Scripture between the sounding of the sixth and seventh trumpets: The Little Scroll. We saw John being called to take and eat the scroll that lay open in the angel’s hand. He was told that it would taste as sweet as honey in his mouth but turn his stomach sour. Greene says in his commentary on the Book of Revelation: “There is nothing sweeter than the message of grace, redemption, and peace, but there is nothing quite so bitter as the judgment message that God’s messengers must deliver.”

Today, we will take a look at a section of Scripture called The Two Witnesses. Without proper study, what we read today may seem like a rollercoaster ride. We would do good to focus on Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
