Tyler Merritt is a master story teller. He uses his theater skills, appreciation for pop culture, observance of history, and deep love of people to draw us in, pour himself out, and change the world one laugh, one tear, one fist shake at a time. Tyler went viral in 2018 and 2020 for his heartfelt response to, as a big Black man, being stereotyped. Together, we talk about the art he pursues, the books he’s written, the power of proximity, and the Oneness we are called to. The unity God desires for us is a big project. Tyler Merritt has taken it on and is leading the charge.
