The very desire within humanity to become one with another person through loving and being loved, knowing and being known, is not a mere human inclination, but a reflection of God's own desire for unity and love with mankind. It is His divine burden since the beginning to be one with humanity, a mission that He fulfills through His Son and the Holy Spirit. This "oneness" is what the spiritual live is all about.
