  • Episode 43: You Feel Unseen, But Is That the Whole Truth?

Have you ever walked into a room full of people and still felt completely invisible?

Maybe you weren't invited. Someone didn't text back. No one came over to say hello. And before you even realized it, your mind had already decided what it meant:

    I don't belong here.

    No one sees me.

    They don't really want me.

But what if the feeling is real, and the thought underneath it isn't telling you the whole truth?

In this episode of The Unapologetic You, I’m sharing a tender moment I witnessed in Relief Society that made me wonder how often we miss the evidence that we are loved because we've already decided we're unseen.

We'll talk about one of the quieter ways the adversary works, the thoughts we repeat until they begin to feel like truth. I’ll also teach you a simple coaching tool to help you notice, name, question, and look again when your thoughts begin telling a painful story.

And most importantly, we'll come back to what God says.

    You are not forgotten.

You are not invisible to Him.

    You are known.

Maybe you don't need to change everything you're feeling today.

Maybe you just need to look again.

  • Episode 42: What If Everything Does Not Fall Apart Without You?

Have you ever been afraid to step away because you believe everything will fall apart without you?

Maybe you are the person everyone depends on. You solve the problems, remember the details, answer the calls, and quietly carry more than anyone realizes. Even when you have time off available, you struggle to take it because people need you.

In this episode, I share a coaching conversation with a client who had two weeks of vacation but was afraid to use it. We talk about the difference between faithful responsibility and fearful overfunctioning, and why being needed can sometimes become tied to our identity.

I will walk you through the Responsibility and Rest Audit, a simple tool to help you identify what truly belongs to you, what someone else can carry, and what fear is keeping you from resting.

Jesus told His disciples to come away and rest, even while the work was still unfinished.

You do not have to prove your value by exhausting yourself. Rest is not weakness. Sometimes, it is an act of trust.

  • Episode 41: The Narrative You Keep Repeating

Have you ever repeated a story so many times that it stopped feeling like a thought and started feeling like the truth?

He does not care about me.

    I always ruin relationships.

    People always leave.

Nothing ever works out for me.

In this episode, we talk about the narratives we create around painful experiences, and how those stories can quietly shape our emotions, our relationships, and the choices we make next.

I will walk you through the Fact, Narrative, and Truth coaching tool to help you separate what actually happened from what you have made it mean. We will also look at the man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5 and the question Jesus asked him: “Wilt thou be made whole?”

Your past may explain some of your fear, but it does not have to become a prophecy.

You can honor what happened without allowing it to define everything that happens next. God is still writing.

  • Episode 40: When Your Life No Longer Feels Like You

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “Nothing is really wrong, so why do I still feel so unsettled?”

You may be getting things done, showing up for everyone, keeping commitments, and doing what you believe you are supposed to do. Yet somewhere along the way, you have started to feel disconnected from yourself.

In this episode, we talk about what happens when the way you are living no longer aligns with what matters most to you.

I will walk you through a simple Values Audit to help you identify your top values, notice where your current choices are supporting them, and recognize where you may need a small adjustment.

We will also look at the story of Martha and Mary in Luke 10, and the gentle reminder from Jesus that even good things can leave us feeling careful, troubled, and pulled in too many directions.

Your life may not need to become bigger or more productive. Perhaps it just needs to become more honest.

  • Episode 39: Resentment Is Trying to Tell You Something

Have you ever said yes when you really wanted to say no, then found yourself quietly frustrated that no one noticed how tired you were?

Resentment often feels like proof that someone else needs to change. But sometimes, resentment is revealing a boundary you never set, an expectation you never communicated, or a place where you stopped being honest with yourself.

In this episode, I share how trying to be loving, helpful, and endlessly available can slowly turn into emotional exhaustion. We will look at the way Jesus modeled compassion without allowing every demand to determine His decisions.

I will also teach you the Resentment Reset, a simple four-question coaching tool to help you separate the facts from the story, identify the boundary that may be missing, and communicate what you need with clarity and kindness.

Because you can love people deeply without carrying everything for them. And you do not have to disappear in order to prove that you care.

  • Episode 38: The UFO Pattern of the Adversary

Have you ever had one thought enter your mind, and before you even realized it, it started to feel like truth?

In this episode, I’m sharing what I call the UFO Pattern of the Adversary, which stands for Untruth, False Narrative, and Overreaction. It is a simple but powerful way to notice how one small lie can grow into a heavy story, and how that story can lead us into emotions, reactions, and beliefs God never meant for us to carry.

This exercise comes from Max Lucado’s book, Tame Your Thoughts, and it helped me see how quickly the adversary can take one thought and turn it into something that feels bigger than it really is.

I’ll also share a personal experience from my own grief, how the Spirit helped me recognize the story I was believing, and a simple coaching tool you can use the next time you feel emotionally activated.

Because not every thought deserves your agreement.

And truth, real truth, always leads us back to Jesus Christ.

  • Episode 37: The Furnace Wasn’t Meant to Break You

Have you ever found yourself asking, “God, why is this happening?”

In this episode, I share a powerful client story, a life-changing coaching tool, and lessons I’ve learned from my own season of illness and uncertainty. Together we’ll explore Isaiah 48:10 and discover how God often does His deepest work in the middle of our hardest trials. If you’re walking through a season of waiting, pain, or refinement, this episode will remind you that the furnace isn’t proof God has left you. It may be proof He is shaping you into something beautiful.

  • Episode 36: When the People You Love Choose a Different Path

In this episode of The Unapologetic You, I talk about the heartbreak of watching people you love, especially your children, choose a different path than the one you hoped for them.

I share my own wrestle as a mother, the fear and guilt that can quietly creep in, and the lesson God continues to teach me about agency, trust, and letting go of control without letting go of love.

If you have ever stayed awake worrying about someone you love, this conversation is for you.

  • Episode 35: Boundaries Are Not Rejection

In this episode of The Unapologetic You, I share the emotional exhaustion that comes from constantly saying yes, overextending myself, and carrying responsibility for everyone else’s emotions.

We talk about why boundaries are not selfish, how Jesus modeled healthy limits, and why resentment is often a signal that something needs to change.

If you have ever felt guilty for protecting your peace, this episode is for you.

  • Episode 34: What Are You Looking For?

Why is it so easy for me to focus on what’s wrong, especially when life shifts or feels uncertain?

In this episode, I share a real-life moment that challenged that pattern in me and invited me to look again. Through the story of Caleb and Joshua, I walk you through a simple coaching tool, giving equal time to the positive, and how that small shift can change how I feel, what I see, and where I’m headed.
