David Farrier is a New Zealand journalist who has a knack for finding stories in the nooks of culture, bizarre phenomena hidden in plain sight. His new movie, "Mr. Organ," is about a sociopathic narcissist named Michael Organ who landed on Farrier’s radar for an extortion racket that involved putting boots on parked cars at a private antiques business. It only gets darker and weirder from there. This week's conversation was recorded in front of a live audience following a screening at Alamo Drafthouse.
