In this weeks show we have another title match, but this time instead of record labels or genres facing off, we have a match between two world renowned recording studios.
In the right corner, founded by Mr. Jimi Hendrix in 1970, this iconic studio is known for its unique analog sound & psychedelic design, from Greenwich Village NYC, its Electric Lady Studios!
And in the left corner, established in 1931 by EMI, located in London, England and home to the Beatles and many other legendary acts, its Abbey Road Studios!
In todays episode you will hear the first ever recordings from both studios, interviews with stories about each studio as well as hearing a 60 minute mixtape showcasing some of the classic recordings that took place in each throughout the years.
You will hear joints from of course Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles, as well as David Bowie, The London Philharmonic, The Clash, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, Jay-Z, Nas, Santana, Run the Jewels, Lenny Kravitz, The Roots with John Legend, The White Stripes, Outkast, Amy Winehouse, D'Angelo, Dr. Dre and even a score by John Williams.
The good news is you have front row seats to todays big match and it didnt cost you anything, FREE, Ein Kesef.

"The thing was created in the studio. It’s gobbledygook; Come Together was an expression that Timothy Leary had come up with for his attempt at being president or whatever he wanted to be, and he asked me to write a campaign song. I tried and tried, but I couldn’t come up with one. But I came up with this, Come Together, which would’ve been no good to him – you couldn’t have a campaign song like that, right?"
– John Lennon
Live from the heart of the Galil Mountains on 105.3FM, this is more than just a radio show—it’s a sonic journey through time, culture, and sound. Hosted by a native New Yorker who cut his teeth spinning records in the city’s underground scenes of hip hop, reggae, dub, punk, and dancehall. He now has relocated to the mountains of Northern Israel to bring this knowledge of music to everyone in earshot.
We dig deep into the record crates telling the stories behind the music that shaped generations and putting some stank on it in the process. Each episode weaves a tapestry of genres, connecting the past and present like an old school cassette mixtape with special guest appearances from kindred spirits like Uncle Siris’ daughter, Soso, and the Silent Bob of of the DJ world, Mixmaster DJ Milkweed.
"Uncle Siris and his show is the most sacred thing Israel has since the Temple Mount" -Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky
“This isn’t just music radio—it’s soothing sonic soul on the airwaves” - Emanuel Lewis
"This is the greatest music variety show I have ever heard"- Helen Keller
"When I listen to show of Uncle its like to make sexy-time to my earholes" - Zohan
