Mary Halvorson has been an exciting member of the Brooklyn experimental jazz community for about 10 years.  Her most well-known effort came in 2015 with her first solo guitar-album Meltframe, which even recieved recognition from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone.  In 2016, Halvorson also released another critically acclaimed record Away With You, featuring her newly formed octet ensemble.
