As the nuclear fallout blanketed the earth, almost all of humanity perished above ground. The lucky ones survived below in the complex system of caves engineered to withstand the worst. But after the cataclysmic event, the weather changed. The cold sun crept behind the haze and blizzards raged through the previously temperate underground.
