When I examine Scripture and see promises like, what the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard and what has not entered the heart of man all that God has prepared for those who love Him I have to wonder what have I been missing. 
When I see that His ways and thoughts and ways are not my thoughts and ways and the difference in the two is staggering; what am I missing?
When He desires to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that I can ask or think, I'm missing something somewhere!
Let's open up the gospel and discover how our unexamined life can lead to a superficial life, robbing us of all that God has promised to us. The truth will set us free but it most likely will make us miserable before it does. God's revealing of the deep things in our lives is His great expression of love toward us that leads us into a powerful and intimate relationship with Him!
