It was just math.

A worksheet.

Something they were supposed to do on their own.

But they called me over.

Asked me to help.

And it hit me:

They invited me into their world.

It wasn’t about getting the answers.

It was about connection.

That ten minutes of helping solve fractions?

It was holy ground.

Because healing doesn’t always look like a hug.

Sometimes it looks like a kid saying, “Can you help me with this?”

And when you say yes…
