If we look at any action or romance movie today, it’s no surprise that we are such suckers for these big moments of life. No one cares about what happens leading up to this moment. All we care about is the flashy ending. The moment of life and death, the final battle, where the hero comes face to face with their greatest challenge. The cloudy letters in the sky spelling out will you marry me, the first kiss, the baby getting saved from the burning building with mere seconds to spare. I think you get the point.

But what about the other 98% of life? Moments of grandeur are great, but if these moments are all that we live for, then we’re missing out on most of life. This is why the journey is so important.
