Before Frequency Freaks was a podcast, it was just two coworkers sharing strange and unexplainable experiences during late-night shifts at a small coffee shop in Highland, Indiana. In our very first episode, we take you inside Sip Coffee House — a location with a unique history, loyal regulars, and what some might describe as lingering paranormal activity. From unexplained sounds after closing, to eerie encounters and shared moments that left us questioning whether we were experiencing a haunting, this is where our fascination with ghost stories and the supernatural truly began.

We'll introduce ourselves, explore the haunted history and past of the building, and share the early paranormal experiences that made us start paying closer attention to the unexplained. What started as small, easy-to-dismiss disturbances slowly escalated into patterns of activity that felt impossible to ignore — strange noises, unsettling energy, and moments that made us wonder if something unseen was still occupying the space.

Eventually, these encounters pushed us to take things further and conduct our own ghost hunt inside the café, searching for possible paranormal evidence and answers.
