How can we solve the US maternal death rate which is the HIGHEST among it's peers and increases every year? Whose responsibility is this to change? What are the causes of this systemic failure to support women and what can we do to protect ourselves?Former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader, Krystal Anderson dies of sepsis after the birth of her stillborn daughter on March 20th, 2024. Kira Johnson died in April of 2016 after waiting 12 hours for a life saving emergency. (@4kira4moms). Both of these women were black and facing a death rate 3 times higher than their white peers with the same socioeconomic status.
