"It's always the woman's fault!"
Tamar has a beautiful, twisted, dark, deceitful story. Her story seems awkwardly placed in the middle of the Joseph saga. She is put through a rough set of circumstances. She marries into a family and then seems to pay the price for the generational sins they continue to pass down.
However, when man fails her, God comes through in redemptive fashion that only God can orchestrate. God uses someone the world may see as terrible, unworthy, passed over and too far gone to show us how to love our family. Tamar's decision to be faithful no matter what to her family is inspiring.
Today, we tend to air our family drama and issues to the world. We don't care the damage and affects or words, posts, and tweets make. Tamar found her beautiful ending in showing grace, humility and love to Judah, an underserving man. Our country could learn so much from her! So join Holly and Mallory as they discuss the juicy details of Tamar's story.
