Becky Gary was a loving, single mother in 1988 doing her best to raise her daughter in Baton Route, Louisiana.

Becky was also rumored to be having an affair with the then-Governor Edwin Edwards.

In 1987, Becky told her family that she had a manila envelope with important information inside, and if something ever happened to her, they could find that envelope taped under her mattress. She didn't say any more about it.

Just after Christmas in 1988, Becky vanished.

Was it related to the mysterious manila envelope? Was Governor Edwards involved?
