In June 2020, Lauren Dumolo, like many Americans, lost her job in a restaurant due to the pandemic.  She would spend the evening of June 18, 2020 applying for jobs in Cape Coral, Florida, where she lived.

On June 19, 2020 Lauren vanished. Her purse would be found in a park, and two weeks later, her shirt would be found. But no sign of Lauren.
