Hey babe,
Welcome back to "Mom's Unboxed." I'm excited to announce a new segment, "The Unspoken Truths," where I’ll answer your questions and share my thoughts on the real struggles of relationships, motherhood, and life.
For the first Unspokeen Truths launched, I chat about the challenges of parenthood. I have nine-and-a-half-year-old twins and a 14-year-old son, and navigating life after separating from my husband has been a journey. Especially when it comes to my living environment. When you have lived in a home for 11 years and everything you’ve known is uprooted, that can be pretty daunting.
And let's not forget that co-parenting adds another layer of complexity, especially with our kids adjusting to different expectations in each home. It can feel like a challenge to get them to help with chores when they aren't expected to do the same.
You feel me? 😮
And I end with a reminder to all parents, it’s not their fault; they’re just adapting! As parents, we must set clear expectations so our kids know what to expect at home.
