How is it that newcomers or "outsiders" to the faith often understand grace better than those who have grown up in the faith. Such is the story of the Syrophoenician woman and the man born mute and deaf (Mark 7:24-37). God is not intimated by people who approach him boldly pleading their case for healing and wholeness.
