This conversation is with Dr. Paschal Baute.

Paschal has been benefiting from the VA Blind Rehabilitation Center program in Hines, Illinois since he began losing his sight ten years ago.

We talk about that wonderful VA program, along with topics related to gratitude, resilience, and total wellness.

One of the many honors Dr. Baute has experienced in his almost ninety years was being enrolled in the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame Honor Roll in September 2018.

We taped this program on his deck at his beautiful home on ten acres in Fayette County, Kentucky complete with pond fountain sounds and happy birds.
