Most lawyers retire after a few decades of law practice; Robert Lieff is not one of them. With nearly 60 years of practice under his belt, there’s not much Robert hasn’t come across. Listen in as Jack and Robert talk about his mentoring by (and then transition from) Mel Belli and the formation of Lieff Cabraser as well as the tactics he learned from the “King of Torts” and he taught the “Queen of Court” in big cases such as against Big Tobacco. Though he is now slowly transitioning to retirement, he remains active with class action cases against Roundup®️and pro bono help at the Global Justice Forum and with the Global Justice Network both of which he founded to mentor others with his class action experience and expertise.
