Chad Daybell believed that there is either a light or a dark within every person. There is no gray in-between, in fact, there is nothing but a land of people puppeted by the evil festering within. These beliefs appealed to Lori Vallow, the mother of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow. When both kids vanish without explanation, the blame falls on light and dark- right and wrong.
