But to assess progress you need to measure your work and personal life and allocate numbers to the various moving parts.
For example, if you have chosen to look at your monthly income, expenditure, hours you work, number of clients you have, how many coffees you drink, how many days off you take, whatever is important to you – you will need to know what your starting point is so you can plan your progress and recognise successes.
