God doesn't just want us to know about him, but to know him personally . He wants us to truly SEE the value that comes from knowing him in this relationship but also the value of seeing and experiencing his power, his riches , and hope through what he has given us. There is value in seeing with our natural eyes, but there is also value in seeing with spiritual eyes ( our heart) as well.
