Oh this one has been a long time coming!! We have been reading The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice for what feels like an eternity. Which is rather fitting actually... We discuss this book and why it is important to read if you're watching AMC+ Interview with the Vampire Series. Included in this episode are clips of interviews of Anne discussing Lestat and Gender identity.

Season 3 Episode 2 Interview with the Vampire

Cocktail Blood and Sand pg.55 of  Essential Cocktail Book by Punch Megan Krigbaum

1 oz  Scotch "Compass Orchard blend"
.5oz Sweet vermouth
.5oz Heering cherry liqueur
1oz orange juice, freshly squeezed

Add the scotch, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur and orange juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
