The Vasa was a massive 64 gun 200 foot long ship in the 1600s. The massively expensive project was supposed to propel Sweden into the future of their military might, but instead it found the bottom of the sea on its maiden voyage. For 333 years it rested until it was salvaged and set up in a museum.
