In 1997, Janet Jackson released The Velvet Rope.

It debuted at number one. The singles travelled worldwide. The tour sold out. This was yet another major, late-90s pop event.

The rollout proved something very simple: when the vision is clear, you don’t need excess noise. You need alignment, the right infrastructure, and then let the work speaks.
