Too often the church responds very quickly when people ask for prayer, yet not so much when it's a call to "action" in topics of "Mental Help". Somehow we believe that's a result of lack of faith, lack of prayer and we excuse ourselves from furthering a possible commitment in helping a brother in Christ by stating "we'll pray about it". We use this statement a little too often and not only in personal issues but in Biblical duties. This statement, like a magician, has become somewhat of a Slight of hand for Christians, like a scapegoat.
