On Friday 27th January 2023, the first gig of the year in ‘THE VENUE‘ took place at the Kerins O’Rahillys Clubhouse, Tralee. Given the line-up, this promised to be night of excellent music and it did not disappoint! This latest gig proves ‘The Venue’ is going from strength to strength.

First up was Owen Rua. With stated influences such as Kim Petras, Troye Sivan, and Billie Eilish, Owen’s set was heart-felt and honest with lyrics sang with passion. There was even a twist on a Kylie Minogue track ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ which was refreshing and unexpected! Owen Rua hopes to have a new E.P. released in 2023 so keep your eye on this social media for updates.
