Venus is about the retrograde in Gemini and Mercury is the planet of Gemini. Mercury, as an elemental energy is a dual energy. It's beautiful and it's poisonous. It's fun to play with and it can kill you. So we need to look for stories that have a downside to them and the story of the birth control pill is just such a story. Hailed as a liberator of women, it is also considered to be a harbinger of genocide and of control by people of color--at least at the time that it first came out. How shall we react to these types of events? Events that are seen by some as good and by others as devastating. This is the energy of Retrograde Venus in Gemini. And then we have the extremely important Jupiter Retrograde that is also beginning. We have some pretty big energies that we are going to be dealing with in the next several months. We will do well to deal with these energies without hurting each other in the process.
