Romans 8:31-39

Big Idea: Those In Christ Are No Longer Condemned By God But Are More Than Conquerors Through Jesus Christ, The Son Of God.

Gospel verdicts because of Christ’s victory (Romans 8:31-39):

1) Because God is for us no one can triumph against us (v. 31-32)

God’s love for us (v. 32):
1) God spared nothing for us
2) God gave His best for us

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
- Hebrews 4:16

2) Because God has justified us no charge will stick against us (v. 33)

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
- 1 John 1:9

3) Because Jesus is interceding for us no one can condemn us (v. 34)

“Consequently, He (Jesus) is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
- Hebrews 7:25

4) Because God’s love secures us nothing can separate us (v. 35-39)

Nothing can separate us from God’s love (v. 38-39):
