This time of year, workplaces everywhere are buzzing with old holiday favorites: guilt, shame, and social self-flagellation over eating extra cookies or missing another workout. It's nice to know we aren't alone, but is that really the way we need to bond? I'm encouraging you to give yourself the benefit of the doubt - you're a good person, whether you ate stuffing and gravy for breakfast or not - and also to try a positive conversation opener about food, movement, rest/relaxation, or body image at work this week. You can't change what others do or say, but you can definitely change the way a conversation leans.
Reach out! I'd love it!
