In the summer of 2007, a heat wave settled over the small town of Millbrook, New York. Luna's friend Nora inherited a house on Albright Lane from her grandmother, and the two of them spent June cleaning it out. In a back closet, they found a stack of unlabeled VHS tapes. One of them changed how they understood the house, the grandmother, and the low hum that came through the walls at night. This episode is about the tape, the hour of footage on it, and the thing that was standing in the garden while Nora's grandmother filmed. It's about what we leave behind without knowing we're leaving it. And it's about the difficulty of looking away once you've seen something you cannot unsee.
