The Vine | Pastor Jeremy Saylor | Sunday Service

Listen Later

Most people treat faith like fire insurance. Just make sure you're going to heaven someday. But the night before the cross, Jesus didn't give his disciples an escape plan.

He said, "I am the vine. Remain in me and bear much fruit."

Fruitfulness isn't an optional add-on to your faith. It is the expectation of your faith. And the fruit Jesus is after isn't your accomplishments or religious activity. It's love.

Pastor Jeremy breaks down what it actually means to remain in Jesus and why the Father's pruning is not punishment. It's preparation.
